01 Our story
Built from inside the problem.
POLI Consultancy was founded in Bengaluru in 2023 by Sankar Poli, after 15+ years working across banking, information technology, real estate, manufacturing, audit firms, F&B and law firms. In every sector, the same frustration repeated: the advice was often sound, the execution rarely followed — and finance and technology were treated as two separate problems instead of one.
Most firms optimise for the deliverable. We optimise for the outcome. That distinction shapes everything: how we structure engagements, how we staff them, who shows up in the room and how we define done.
Our name reflects our founding conviction — that practical, integrated advisory (POLI, from the Sanskrit root for "complete" and "whole") is what growing businesses actually need. Not a finance firm that does not understand technology. Not a technology firm that cannot read a P&L. IT & Accounts in one place, run by one team that sees the whole picture.
